Framed prints and cards on sale at Hassop Station Cafe in the Peak District.

The newly opened and rather lovely Hassop Station Cafe, near Baslow and Bakewell is now displaying and selling my framed Peak District photos and greetings cards. The large walls have provided me with a great opportunity to show some of my larger limited edition prints as well as some of my smaller framed photos. Hassop Station is a superb place to stop off and walk along the Monsal Trail and they are soon to offer a cycle hire service. I can also vouch for the food which is great!

Large Format landscape photography workshops
I am pleased to have teamed up with fellow large format landscape photographer Tim Parkin and we now have an exciting program of one day, weekend and week long workshops in the Peak District.
Our workshops are aimed at those interested in taking up large format or photographers who have recently taken up large format and want to improve their techniques. Our week long workshops are aimed at photographers who are looking to advance their large format photography both technically and creatively .
The good news is that you don't have to go to great expense to purchase your own large format kit – for our Introduction to large format days the workshop cost of £200 includes the use of all the equipment you will need. You'll get the chance to try out the various types of large format cameras we have, making your choice easier if you decide to take up this, the ultimate large format landscape camera (and we're sure you will!).
We are also able to rent all the large format equipment you need for our weekend and week courses if you do not already have your own kit.
Masters of Vision Exhibition
I'm am very pleased and excited to be one of the artists included in the Masters of Vision Exhibition – an exciting exhibition of landscape photographers being held at the stunning Southwell Minster in Nottinghamshire throughout August 2009.
My work will be displayed alongside landscape master Charlie Waite as well as 5 other up and coming landscape photographers.Throughout the month there will be seminars by Charlie Waite and Damien Demolder.
Organised by fellow photographer Pete Bridgwood, I've been busy designing the event's identity and buidling the website.

In print

7 of my images and an interview are featured in April's edition of Photography Monthly, on sale from the 12th March 2009.
The new website!
Well if you've got this far you'll have realised the all new peaklandscapes.com website is all up and running! There's still some tinkering to do, mainly adding sale items to the gallery but it's all more or less as it should be.
I'll hopefully have some more new images to add before too long, I have a fridge full of exposed sheet film, all I need now is for my seemingly temperamental Jobo processor to get fixed so I can develop them.
Please feel free to leave comments in the gallery and sign the guest book, it would be great to know what you think (as long as it's not too derogatory!)
